Project Participants


The Project, based at Vanderbilt University Divinity School and supported by the Lilly Endowment, consisted of two groups. Eight scholars, historians of American religion, wrote monographs on topics in the material and economic history of American religion. Several senior scholars in the field advised and critiqued their work. (These biographies were valid as of summer 2001.)
