Project scholar Colleen McDannell has
created a traveling exhibition of photographs from the Farm Security Administration, a
1930s New Deal agency, examining how they depict
religious life in America. The pictures are engaging, but McDannell sets them in a
context that makes them reveal even more. If you would like to host the exhibit, please
contact her care of the Department of History, 211 Carlson Hall, University of Utah, Salt
Lake City, Utah 84112 or at colleen.mcd@m.cc.utah.edu
Project scholars presented panels at the American Academy of Religion meeting in
November, and the American Society of Church History meeting in January.
